adding google ads to my store page

First I searched the forum for anything about adding google ads to zen cart but was not able to find anything.

I would like to add google ads to the front of my store, but having trouble doing so. When I try to do so, I don't even see any boxes on my page at all even after waiting over 48 hours to see if any ads to start from google, but nothing shows.

I'm looking for anyone that might have had this same problem and wondering what you may have done to solve the problem to get ads on your page.

Thank you for the info and I have downloaded it to my computer.
I'll have to work on getting it installed and what ever I need to do for getting ads on my site.
It does sound pretty easy to install and setup.

Bear in mind that you will be directing potential customers away from your store.

Having Google ads displayed in an online store is proven to be detrimental to business.

I'm not planning to have a bunch of ads on my site, just one in the sidebox.
I know about some sites having to many which I am sure is driving away customers at that site.
People are fed up with lots of ads on a single site which use adblocker, but some sites are making the sites to block browsers with adblocker.

Some sites depend solely on ads for funds and doesn't sell anything.
So if I just keep to one little ad and keep my site clean, I won't drive away my customers.

But I appreciate the concern.

Why people bother with this is beyond me? Are they running a business or not?

Yes, I am running a business and if I make a little from the ad on my site, then thats just a little more than I had before as business can be good in one month and be very slow another.

I have to think of ways I can make a little bit of money if items don't sell to fast.
I'm not saying I make alot, but little is better than nothing at all.
