Where do I find the to EDIT?

 FAQ didn't have the answer, at least I couldn't find it and now for my somewhat large question... :frusty:

:unsure:I need to know where are the files I need to edit to change or get rid of some of the ZenCart pre-written text and/or banners on the front page. Thank you. :P

Re: Where do I find the to EDIT?

The files are on your remote server where you installed Zencart. You'll access them using an FTP program. Many here use Filezilla, I prefer the FireFTP plugin for Firefox.

Re: Where do I find the to EDIT?

And to find out which file to edit, use admin > Tools > Developers Toolkit; paste a distinctive snippet of the text you want to change in the lower left box, select all files and search. Among the results will be the file and line number where the text is defined.

The FAQs do have the answer in multiple places, but obviously not where you looked:)
