It did work when I tested it on your site. I just retested it exactly as I posted.
There is at least one other rule that sets the horizontal margin for that and a bunch of other elements to 0. It would be good to remove .categoryListBoxContents, from that rule.

Finally it's working, I had missed the one at line 476 of the default css.
