Wondering if anyone has some experience with solving the following while hosting is with godaddy using the .htaccess file?

1. User types: https://www.vintagecollectionsonline.com

2. The following appears in the address bar when they land on my site:
http://www.vintagecollectionsonline.com/store/index.php?main_page=

3. I would the user to see only when they land on my site: https://www.vintagecollectionsonline.com/ [with or without the / is fine]

Anyone got any ideas?

Don't worry about this, and best advice is not to start tampering with it either. URL re-write mods can do more harm than good...

I don't think your visitors are going to have panic attacks if they notice the dynamic url data, and if they are after your products, they will absolutely not care what the landing URL says, nor will they pay the slightest attention to it. They care about it as much as I do about what lies between our Solar System's Kuiper Belt and the Heliopause.

i just had the same thing with godaddy and switched off the SEO url in the admin under configuration. worked fine
