LRG Image Popup not working with/without Image Handler

-Installed Image Handler
*LRG Popups stopped working
*Removed Image Handler, didn't like/need it after all
*LRG Popups still not working

-Using Aberdeen template

I have matched up all files, deleting the IH files are overwriting the core files back to original.

I do get a popup window with the URL pointing where it should but no image.

Yes, I do have that image _LRG in the large folder.

There must be something missing here.

Did you make sure you removed the override files that were in the /your_template/ folders

in the includes/templates/"my_template"

I don't see anything, but I may be missing it

as well as reverting the below files back to their originals as these particular files are overwritten (not overridden)

Yup, got all those. Just did them again to make sure.
This override thing has got me though maybe.

and you did click uninstall imagehandler in the admin?

yes - that was the first thing I did as per removal instructions

boy - I may just reinstall IH2. The large image fix would be to rename all the large images to the small and upload/overwrite via FTP. That should solve it right?

Among all of this I have learned having one large pic for Image Handler is the way to do it anyway.

I have successfully removed image handler before when trying to track down a problem (turned out to be nothing to do with IH) and it was dead easy and came out easily, so i can't help you there if the advice given didn't work.

The whole point of image Handler is that when you add the product you just add the one image (normally a large version of your image) and image handler automatically creates the medium and small versions, in 90% of the cases it works perfectly, in the majority of the rest the problems are caused by incomplete installs, or people not renaming the /Your_template/ files to match their template

I made sure every folder for the install was correct and just double checked.

I just fixed one product - uploaded the full size pic into the /images folder and it still has the same behavior seen HERE

But that image is being loaded from
/images/medium/bluebow_MED.jpg

Not the /images folder

Try deleting the medium image that you have in
/images/medium/bluebow_MED.jpg

OK, So I reinstalled Image handler 2 AND installed lightbox for my 1.3.9h

I overwrote all the images in the /images folder to the Large Size pics. (they do not include the _LRG)

Now lightbox tries to show a larger image, but just spins.

Next question - should the named _MED and _LRG in IH2 config be nothing?

I just reloaded another file to /images

This file was 550px wide and 65k and it works!

The other files are 240k and may be too big I assume?

Next step - covert all my pics to about 65k

Just about got it - only a few items that are having trouble.

Will fix tomorrow - need sleep!

Fix for me -

Deleted all _MED and _LRG pics
resized all pics to go in /images folder to appox 500px - size about 65 k

Now works with IH2 and Lightbox
