kobra:
You appear to be doing this outside of the builtin image setupAs such ZenCart will not invoke its' proportional sizing system
OK; thanks!
Where is ZCs proportional sizing system located?
I had set up the non-JS (marquee) scroller add-on in this way, and it worked as I had wanted, but seemingly due to an error.
I added these to the cart defines:
define("TINY_IMAGE_WIDTH", "180");
define("TINY__HEIGHT", "180");
and changed the line 31 of the( OLD- NON JS SCROLLER!) file
$rn .= '<br /><center><a href="'...........featured_product->fields['products_name'], TINY_IMAGE_WIDTH, TINY_IMAGE_HEIGHT) . ' </a><br /><a href="' . zen_href_link(zen..................
from the original code.
It actually worked and scrolled the images proportionally. That is, it used a standard width, but the height varied as I had wanted it to. Now, looking back, I see that I had actually defined TINY_HEIGHT in error, and so the changes on line 31 specified a width numerically, but the height was whatever TINY_iIMAGE_hEIGHT is set to in PHP without being defined. What is a nondefined constant set to??
When I made similar changes in this new JS Scroller add-on, I corrected my error, and now some of the wider images are too wide, while the narrower tall images are sized correctly.
When I remove the TINY_IMAGE_HEIGHT define but leave it in the line of the tplfetured.php file, it now appears to work.
How does ZC deal with the admin setting for proportional sizing being set to on? I notice in the image admin area, the height settings are all empty. What is actually stored as the value in the database for these height image sizes and how does it work when a line of code is encountered that has both (for example) SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH as well as SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT??
