Can't find my data...Help

Apologise...i am new..please be gentle.

1)i uploaded the the folder in filezzila
2)i ordered a dedicated ip
3)I didn't installed zen-cart
4)I installed in my hosting cp a mysql database(also had Zen-cart option) and i recieved an email my zen cart is online.
5)Finally yes is online and i am in admin page without installing it the way all you know.

What's going on? Please give me a hand,i want to change the layout and templates,but i don't know where my files are.really,i am confused.

Thanks Rod.I installed the cart already.I am in the stage to rename the configure.php but i rename the 3 admin words as the tutorial says with the word i like.

The rest two that it says "mysecretadminarea" i can't understand what to do.
The tutorial isn't so clear.

Finally i loged in on my admin area.Everything was perfect.But in the online catalog displays a blank page.

All the other configure.php must have the word admin or the new one i put on replaced folder?

Let me know please.Why i can't see the online catalog?
