Switched hosts, everything works but admin login

I just switched hosts and reinstalled on the new server, replaced the database with the old on and maintained the new configure.php files. Everything works and looks great except when I try to login to the admin.
It takes me to the admin login but once I put in my username and password, which is correct, it redirects me to the customer login.

It sounds like a problem with your admin/includes/configure.php file.

I have checked and rechecked this and compared it to a fresh install and the old install. All of the settings seem right. I can get to the admin login panel but when I login it redirects me to the customer login.

It seems like it isn't pointing to the admin but instead the customer. I have seen this problem a lot on the board but no solution.

Also...it is pointing to the shop/index.php when I go to shop/admin instead of shop/admin/index.php Any clue what file points it there...maybe it needs to be corrected?

These 3 settings in your adminfoldername/includes/configure.php file need to contain the name of the 'admin' folder as part of the pathway. These are posted as an example only and will not match the settings of your own website:
