Delete center top "Home" banner

I would like to delete the entire banner that has "Home : directory..."

Listed in the tan color in the pic below.

I have tried a few suggestions from the forum regarding the stylesheet and have had no luck so far ... maybe I've done somethings wrong, not sure.

Can someone please direct me so I can just delete the code?

i don't know what suggestion was made to you , but that looks like bread crumb section of your site . you can use CSS to remove it ( hide it ) ..

look for following rule in your css

#navBreadCrumb { } and add display:none; or just add the following to the end of your stylesheet.css

#navBreadCrumb {
display:none;
}

You can also turn it off in Admin - Configuration - Layout Settings
