How do I make the add to cart be 0 rather than default on 1

How do I make the add to cart be 0 or blank rather than default on 1. They want the shopper to put the number in.

This is the latest of Zencart

This is a nonsense request... The default HAS to be 1.

If it is zero, then you are saying "click here to add NOTHING to the cart".

And besides... the customer can change the value if they want to.

Customers are quite thick, I know, but I doubt whether someone who wants TEN of something, will not know what to do.
