lost side bars - end of summer template

I use "end of summer" template. I built it on wamp server and it appears fine:

I built it on a remote host and what I have is:

In both cases basically I followed the same steps. In the remote hosted one there is an alignment problem. Also leftmost and rightmost vertical gray bars have been lost.
Need help!

I have just figured out that in the Layout Settings the column widths were not the same. I equated them and the alignment problem has been solved. Bu the lost grey bars problem continues.
