products and editing descriptions

Zen Follower

When i click on Admin >catalogue> Categories/products and click on a category then click to edit a product everything is blank except the price.

There's no description or title. Am I looking in the wrong place to edit products or is this normal behaviour?

I'll be moving to a new hosting service this week who has up to date php so i won't need to make any changes :)
