Sort order of existing links in template?

In the information box on the left side, where do I find the sort order of those links (Shipping & Returns, Privacy Notice, Terms of Conditions, etc.)?

I'm looking everywhere in the admin panel, but can't find the sort order for those links.

Thanks bunches! Jules

Re: Sort order of existing links in template?

That sort order is set in the information sidebox module file, not in admin. You would have to edit the file and move lines of code to the desired order.

They are pre-ordered in the file

/includes/modules/sideboxes/information.php

Re: Sort order of existing links in template?

Okay ... I understand. As Kobra knows, I am trying to quickly and as easily as possible add a few pages ... so I'm now looking at the EZ-Pages, which brings up one more question.

Just to clarify ... when you add an EZ-Page, those links will NOT go into the left information box, those links will only show up in the more information box, right?

Thanks bunches! Jules

Re: Sort order of existing links in template?

EZ-Page links show in the "Important Links" sidebox. If you are not using that for something else, you could position it just below the information sidebox and use CSS to make it look like it is part of that box.

Okay, again .. trying to keep this simple ... but that sounds great.

Really, what would work for me is to change the top text and replace "Important Links" with something like "more Info" or something. Is it hard to change that text?

And, I really don't care if I make it look like it is a part of that box, but I would like that box and the "Information" box to be the first two boxes at the top, with "Categories", "New Products" and "Reviews" below them. pawsomedogz.com

Is it hard to re-order the way the boxes are sorted?

Thanks bunches! Jules

Ack! Strike that! Having all of the links at the top would look bad. I'll just leave it as it is.

That only leaves the question on changing the "Important Links" text.

Sorry to be a pain!

All output text is defined in language files. You can find the file and line number where a particular bit of text is defined by pasting it in Tools > Developers Toolkit, lower left box, select all files and search.
