Change manufacturer for several products

Hi people,
Would like to change the manufacturer, for several hundred products.
Am looking in phpmyadmin and can certainly change one at a time....
Is there a way to bulk change them?

Are all products for a mfg in a single category?

Yes, all in one category and all of the products will receive the same manufacturer ID. (thankfully)
Cheers....

In your admin get the "master_categories_id" for these products and the desired "manufacturers_id"

master_categories_id can be seen when looking/editing a product in that cat

You might have to view one of the products with the correct manufacturers_id in the DB "products" table

Always make a proper DB backup before doing anything like this just in case

SQL

UPDATE products SET manufacturers_id = ?? WHERE master_categories_id = XX;

Awesome. That worked a treat thanks!
