Unable to enter text on EZ page

error: more than one defined, internal link, external link, HTML.

error given when you update the page after text entry.

So I do have an internal link, and now I want to enter the text for Conditions of Use in the EZ page.

Re: Unable to enter text on EZ page

You can either specify a link (external or internal) OR enter some html text but not both

Re: Unable to enter text on EZ page

So if I have set up the internal link do I create an image of the document and link to that?

Sorry for being dense.

Thanks!

Re: Unable to enter text on EZ page

If you are using the ez-page to hold your content, you don't need an internal link. If you have an internal link, the link will go there and not show the ez-page text - you can't go to two different places at the same time, can you?

If you want to show the ez-page text and have another page as well, you can put a link to that in your ez-page content (not the "internal link" box).

Re: Unable to enter text on EZ page

So I am not really sure when and where I would have turned on an internal link, so I am not sure where to turn it off.

As far as I know I created an EZ Page and now can not input into it.

Re: Unable to enter text on EZ page

The options to specify an internal or external link are at the bottom of the EZ page setup screen. You may have to delete the EZ page in question and re-create it.

Re: Unable to enter text on EZ page

Thank you. That took care of it.

Somewhere along the line I thought that field was required for an EZ page. I had created a loop

Re: Unable to enter text on EZ page

You don't need to delete the ez-page, just delete all content in the "internal link" box. Then the textarea HTML content will show up on your site.
