EDIT product loses all prev. prod. info...

hi Folks,

I'm running the latest version of ZC on a Linux-Apache- CentOS system.

every time I go in to edit a product (ie, hit the green "e" icon), pretty much ALL the previous product info is missing from the fields (except price, weight, products URL).

So, say, if I only want to change the PRICE, what I end up having to do is re-populate pretty much every single field in the product page. The product image seems to be retained.

Same, if I use the "back" option from the PREVIEW PAGE, all entered info is lost.

Tried this in both Firefox & Google-Chrome.

If anyone has any ideas for tweaks or fixes on this, I'd appreciate it!

I am also having the same problem. My host is 1and1 so I don't believe that is the problem

Go to your Tools ... Server Info ... and see what version of php you are using ...

When I changed to PHP5 the problem was corrected. :D

hi, I began this thread ... I'm running PHP v 5.1.6 ... It seems very difficult for me to find PHP req's for the current updated version of ZC ... wondering why system requirements are not easily found from ZC home page?

Anyway, is there a definitive answer to what PHP i need to run ZC 1.3.9h on Apache/CentOS ...?

I am also running PHP version 5.1.6 and cannot edit any of my products without haveng to re-enter all the data.

Hi, thanks for all input - I did solve the problem by upgrading PHP.
I'M USING 5.2.17 and it works fine in this regard ...

Yes, I have gone through these changes.
I can see the customer name now in Admin Home, but still no data on products pages once I click edit.
I must also admit that did not find the "TRUE" near line 412 ?!. I even used the "search" to find CHARSET, TRUE, but no luck.
Could that be the problem?
