Is there a time limit on when I can capture after it's authorized? Yourpay/linkpoint

Is there a length of time on how long I can wait to capture money after it's been authorized? We sell "seats" for classes, but we wait until there are 10 people signed up, and that could take up until the week before class starts. I don't want to capture the peoples' money until we know for sure we're holding the class.
Will the ability to capture the money expire? We're using First Data/YourPay/Linkpoint as the credit card capturing gateway and also paypal express.
