Hiding products that R out of stock

I don't want my visitors to see products that are sold out.

I'm sure it's a simple admin click but I cannot find it..

How do I hide my "SOLD OUT" products from my visitors?

Have a look at the settings in admin > config > stock

thanks,
I already tried to turn "Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to" to off but it had no affect.
Visitors can still see the products.

If I recall correctly, if you just go into admin and reset the product quantity to 0, it won't disable the product. Someone (customer, or you as a test customer) has to purchase the last product in an order.
