To what end? Are you trying to increase prices on all your products?

Hi all,
Yea, is there an interface from the admin panel where we can increase prices by a percentage or by a value, on specific products or products from different categories instead of changing the prices from Catalog ->Categories/Products...
SQL is a good choice bt I will not maintain it once its live... I require a very basic solution to it as the company wont be able to use SQL as method..
Please help!!!
Thanks

I don't believe the salemaker can be used in that way since salemaker is a temporary pricing tool. It doesn't decrease the price of the product in the database as far as I know. To permanently increase/decrease the price of products, you have to change the database entry which requires a mySQL statement.

Short answer: You can't.
I just tried it on one of my sites as a test to increase the price in a category to $10. What I get on the screen is the original price ($8 crossed out) underneat that is Sale! $10 followed by Save -25% off. Not exactly what you want a customer to see.

Hi,
Thanks for the thread Afo..
I have a question, how to alter prices for attributes by 15%??
I have a product for which I apply Product Quantity Discounts wenever doing bulk purchases..
Its mentionned in the thread http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79927&page=4 but am not understanding for which option values is it??
They give a link for it http://www.troll-motor.no/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_69&products_id=186
But I do not know where they use the option_id=22 as a reference, I dont see such id=22..
How to increase prices for attributes??
Thanks
