Quantity discount issues...

Here is what I am trying to achieve...

I have a company that sells Wine, Crackers, and gifts.

They want to give quantity discounts on Wine, but nothing else.

Wine is broken into 3 basic categories

White, Red, Ice wine. And inside those categories there are several different types of wine each.

How do I set up zen to discount only wine in any combo of white red or ice and not crackers, etc?

Quantity discounts are just 2 levels

6 or more bottles of any wine, 10% off
12 or more bottles of any wine 15% off

I am fairly efficient at editing php, html, etc., but new to Zen. Step by step if you can please.

Oh, I installed the quantity discount module (its documentation is cryptic at best) but I got it installed.

It will do quantities of like bottles of wine but no mixes.
