I can't change the logo in my header

I want to change the logo in my header.

I have up-loaded it to the correct location and used Firefox web developer to make sure I had the correct location.

I have changed the info in this file: includes/languages/ENGLISH/CUSTOM/header.php

Nothing changes. :frusty:

I have cleared the cache and rebooted. Nothing I do seems to work. I have lked through the forum, etc Is there something else I need to change to change to get this to work?

are you sure you have the image name correct? no caps or anything like that?
if you check with the dev tool kit under tools in your admin and see all ref to logo (or whatever you called your image):smile:

I just lked again to make sure the image was spelled correctly, etc. Thanks!

what folder is header.php in?

header.php path:

/birdwaterandbombay.com/includes/languages/english/header.php

you should be editing:

/birdwaterandbombay.com/includes/languages/english/YOURTEMPLATE/header.php

I don't have such a location. I have:

/includes/templates/premium7a/images/birdwaterlogo.jpg

and

/includes/languages/english/

classic
extra_definitions
html_includes
images
modules
and header.php

under classic I have a header.php and tried changing that, but again nothing worked.

check:
templates/your template/common/tpl_header.php

delete logo.gif image & upload birdwaterlogo.jpg
to this location:
/includes/templates/premium7a/images

in:
/includes/templates/premium7a/common/tpl_header.php

find:
<a href="<?php echo HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG ?>"><?php echo zen_image(DIR_WS_TEMPLATE.'images/logo.gif'); ?></a>

change to:
<a href="<?php echo HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG ?>"><?php echo zen_image(DIR_WS_TEMPLATE.'images/birdwaterlogo.jpg'); ?></a>

I have NO idea why... is this something I could have known?

I am trying to learn; and being VERY careful to keep everything backed up!
