No ADMIN folder and 2 includes folders?

Hi all, I'm new to Zen Cart and have been going through the various FAQs to get my site up and running. My first issue is the renaming of the Admin folder... I don't have one! When I go into Filezilla I have folders: .cpanel, .fantasticodata, .htpasswds, .ssh, .trash, access-logs, etc., public_ftp, public_html, tmp and www folder.

When I look in the public_htm folder i have cache cgi-bin docs download editors email extras images includes media pub and zc_admin folders and numerous other files.

So my first question is it the ZC_Admin folder I need to change the name of? My second question, is when installing a mod and the instructions say to download to admin/includes, is it in the includes folder in public_html I use or the one in ZC_Admin?

Thanks in advance for your help

Re: No ADMIN folder and 2 includes folders?

It sounds like your admin folder has already been renamed as zc_admin, so just use that everywhere you see admin in future.

Re: No ADMIN folder and 2 includes folders?

How did you install this?

If a autoscript like fantastico, it most likely renames it zc_admin
Which will not be secure for long as soon as hackers discover that fantastico does this they will be looking for it to be there

there is an /includes and a /admin/includes which will be /new admin name/includes

Re: No ADMIN folder and 2 includes folders?

Thanks for your speedy replies both  I installed it via my webhost Siteground using fantastico yep. I googled zc_admin and heaps of hits came back showing the website's folders so i think i'm best renaming it!

And as for adding modules, do i install the stuff in the mod includes folder in the renamed ZC_Admin includes folder?

Thanks very much :D

Re: No ADMIN folder and 2 includes folders?

No. You would only put files from the mod's admin/includes folder into your zc_admin/includes folder.
