Custom metatags and server load

Hello, Could you tell me does custom metatags added to the "meta_tags_categories_description" table increase server load and decrease site's speed? Now I have over 50 configured categories in the meta_tags_categories_description and I'm wondering if custom metatags have influence on it. Thanks for answer.

Shouldn't cause the problems you describe.

You can do some testing though with this option:

Admin > Configuration > Logging
Display The Page Parse Time : true

Will show load times at page bottom of your main site for PHP and mySQL so you can see where load time problems might be.
