Can I use htmlarea to edit home page?

i would like to use htmlarea to editt my index (home) page. i would like to write a breif intro (which i know how to do already) then place images with links to my categories under each image and have the image itself be a link.

i think htmlarea can do this, (kind of like ms frontpage) but i would like a confirmation from a black-belt or above before i screw up all of my hard work up to this point.

Yes, the html area editor can do this using the Define Pages Editor.

You only need some very basic html knowledge to accomplish this ... no need to call for a black-belt or above :smile:
