Shoping Cart will not Advance Step 3 of 3 after upgrading our Stock by Attributes mod

We are using ZenCart v1.3.9h

We upgraded our Stock by Attributes to version v4.7a. Yesterday. After following the instructions we have run into a problem. Step 3 of 3 of the shopping cart is broken.

https://newfhealthandrescue.org/NewfMart/index.php?main_page=checkout_confirmation is the url that is broken.

The other add-on we have on the site is Column Layout / Grid Layout for Products Listing (Add On Module for Zen Cart v1.3.8) . That has been working fine.

I have searched the forum for a couple of days now and cannot find where anyone else is experiencing this.

We have custom stylesheets in the template custom folders.

The bottom line is that our cart will not progress past Step 2 of 3.

Please help!

You can go to our site and create a login. (I have parsed the url below as the posting suggestion recommended. That means you will need to key in the url below to get to the site) Make a small purchase and use the PayPal Payment option. The cart does not complete so you do not need to be concerned about spending any cash on this. When you get to step 3 of 3 in the checkout the page display the code from a page** instead of the data** and you cannot get any further.

First try switching to the cassic template and see what happens

Then look at this file and why if any reason you have edited it
\includes\templates\custom\templates/tpl_checkout_confirmation_default.php

1. I Switched to the classic template and still had the same error.
2. I uploaded an un-edited \includes\templates\custom\templates\tpl_checkout_confirmation_default.php and overwrote the file that was there. That did not change my situation.
3. I removed the above file from the custom folder and still get the same results.

Do you have other ideas?

Is this a fresh install of 1.3.9h or upgraded from what version?

And why do you have this file in your template

This is a fresh install of ZenCart v1.3.9h. I had this file in my template
\includes\templates\custom\templates\tpl_checkout_confirmation_default.php because I had thrown in some debug code to see if I could fix the page myself. I have removed that file from the custom folder and copied a new copy of tpl_checkout_confirmation_default.php into the \includes\templates\template_default\templates directory.

There is no change to the Step 3 of 3.

Still confused as to why you would have to replace the file at
\includes\templates\template_default\templates

As it should have never changed if using the overrides system

I suggest that you use a diff tool such as winmerge and compare your default files against a fresh expanded distribution
There should be no alterations found in any overrideable areas

Thank you for your response. You are confusted about why I would need a new copy of the TPL_ file because I am confused. I was making sure that we had a fresh copy of the correct file ws in the correct folder. If we can get passed that perhaps we can get to the detail that I need to complete this cart.

Can you direct me to specifically which file I should be running WinMerge on? I would really like to get this resolved today for me customer. I must say that I get lost in the file structure of ZenCart sometimes.

I am not sure if I should be comparing checkout_confirmation.php or tpl_checkout_confirmation_default.php. I am lost right now but I donot wish to install a new cart and erase everthing we have done so far.

I would run winmerge to mass check all files in /includes against a fresh copy of includes

That way you can capture "any" core file that is not what it should be and check for the reason - - which may be due to a module or??

I have run the comparison between a fresh copy of includes and includes on the live site. There are 523 files that have changed.

I really need some help here. Aside from reinstallinig the whole application and loosing everything.

Can anyone assist me in troubleshooting my site?

After much pain and suffering :lookaroun I got my cart fixed. The offending file was in the tpl_xxx templates. That was a tough one. Thanks for the help.
