Postage cost not added

Hello. I am using the latest version of Z.C. with no add-ons. Recently I had someone make 2 orders on the same day, multiple items each time. Problem is shipping cost was not added on. I use table rate for up to 20 items. When I test the system using a test account everything seems to work fine. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong or was it just a temporary glitch?:dontgetit

Hello and thanks for response. I don't quite follow the question about what were the orders in relation to my settings. There were 2 separate orders on the same day with 6 items each time. The system has worked up 'til now and seems to work when I test it. This is how my table rate is set up;-

It look like your 6 item setting is incorrect:

That should be:

Hi...I'm not sure I'm in the right spot to ask this question, BUT I have kind of a strange situation here.

I am setting up Zen Cart for a customer that ships nationally and internationally. We are setting the shipping to be FREE nationally and charge for the international. I did this successfully with the Free Shipper Options (for US) and Table Rates (for International).

My problem is this...there is 1 product that needs to be charged shipping locally. How can I incorporate this. I cannot use the Always Free Shipping option within the product listing on the products that don't require shipping as I need the shipping to show internationally.

I also would like to be able to offer shipping in ounces verses pounds. Any ideas or help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Ok, you have a couple things going on here.

1.) To only enable free shipping to one area, and charge in another, using the zones is the easy solution there.
2.) To disable free shipping for a certain product you could override the standard free shipping and force it not to use that. However you also need to for the other to appear, because otherwise you would have no method, because of #1.
3.) Most Carriers ship by the pound, only a select few (FedEx's Ounce Rate Smart Post comes to mind) actually accept ounces, and even they only take fractions of a pound like 4oz = 0.25 or 8oz = 0.50.
