Category styling

Working on the same theory I inserted the a.category-subs+br code to get rid of the spacing on the sub categories as below but this has not worked have i put it in the wrong place ?

a.category-subs+br {
display: none;
}

A.category-subs, A.category-products,{
color: #0a7376;
text-decoration: none;
}
A.category-subs:visited, A.category-products:visited {

color: #8b8c87;
text-decoration: none;
}
A.category-subs:hover, A.category-products:hover {
color:#8b8c87;
}
SPAN.category-subs-parent {
font-weight: normal;
}
SPAN.category-subs-selected {
font-weight: normal;
}

Actually, though she originally posted the questions together, they are unrelated aside from both dealing with elements named "category".

We do need to see the site to advise correctly on styling issues.

please be aware these are adult sites

they are all linked using some sort of multi site add on and they all have the same problem but they have individual ftp's

You don't have any rule in your active stylesheets (at least for happieladies) like
a.category-subs+br {
display: none;
}

Do the sites have different stylesheets?

yes i have done the happiechappie categories but not the sub categories and not done any of the others yet :smile:
