Changing Master Category

I wonder if someone could help me and explain how to do the following.I want to delete a product from the Master Category and keep a linked product. The message being flashed up is this:

"Warning: On Linked Products
Make sure the Master Category has been changed if you are deleting the Product from the Master Category."

How do I do this?

In the Multiple Categories Link Manager ...

First, change the Master Category in the drop down to match the one you want to keep ...

Then, to remove the Product from another Category that it is linked to, you will see checkboxes on the ones it is currently linked to ...

Uncheck any that you no longer need to be linked to and click the Update button ...

You are most welcome ... thanks for the update that you were able to reset the Master Category on a Product and remove it from being Linked to other Categories with the Multiple Categories Link Manager ... :smile:
