How Would I Change All Background Colour To Black?

Hi, i was wondering how i would change all the white bits on my website to Black?

Iam after a Black website, but cant seem to find how i can change all the white bits, seems like they are all controlled by different bits.

Would appreciate your help.

The elements are probably all DIV-controlled, so it is a matter of finding all the style declarations that are relevant.

You should use FIREBUG for firefox, where you can firstly identify each element, and then use the offline CSS editor to adjust the styles (in yiour case colour hex codes).

When you are happy with the result, you can save the css to a new stylesheet.css file (on your local machine), then - after backing up your server stylesheet.css file - FTP the altered one to the server.

Bear in mind that the ORIGINAL stylesheet should either be removed from the css folder, or renamed with an extension other than ".css" ... This is because ZC will load ALL stylesheets it finds - even if that stylesheet is not wanted.

I used firebug and tried to find out what files to change, but cant seem to find it, especially the main center block.

insert this in your stylesheet.css file

#indexHomeBody {background-color: black;}

you may have to remove your body background image which is in same file

Its changed the sides black, but the main middle bit is still white.

I cant seem to figure out how it can be changed to black

change this in your stylesheet_colors.css file

background-color: black;
color:#424242;
