Re: Need help fixing top Nav. bar of website

#navMainWrapper {position: fixed;}

with other styling as needed, perhaps some from post 3

position: fixed;
width: 740px;
top: 0;
z-index: 100;

Adjust to taste.

Re: Need help fixing top Nav. bar of website

It is (or should be) in tpl_header.php. You can copy and alter an existing <li> and enclosed link code to do what you want.

Re: Need help fixing top Nav. bar of website

I got it, thanks again.
How hard would it be to take the same bar, and move it to a different webpage?
Because i have other webpages beside zencart that use a different stylesheet, and a different html page, that was made from scratch, on the same website and i'd like to put that bar across all the pages, linking them together, so to speak.

Any PHP code, variables, constants, etc. would not be portable; you would need to replace those with static equivalent values. Also, style rules that affect the navbar would need to be replicated in the stylesheet(s) that control the other pages.

Re: Need help fixing top Nav. bar of website

Not exactly... you would have to change quite a few things, but you would want to start with the tpl_header.php nav code and replace PHP items with HTML equivalents, to end up with the same nav on other pages.

There is no such thing as float: center; you might want to use margin: auto; or text-align: center;
float: none; might be required if the bar inherits a float from something else.

Re: Need help fixing top Nav. bar of website

You sure? cause im using it for my logo:

.centerBoxContents,.specialsListBoxContents,.categoryListBoxContents,.centerBoxContentsAlsoPurch,.attribImg,.mediaTitle,.back{float:left;}
#logo {float: center;}
#checkoutPayment LABEL.radioButtonLabel

and i tried margin: auto; and text-align: center; but neither worked

Re: Need help fixing top Nav. bar of website

You can write whatever you like in your stylesheet, but float can only use the values left, right or none. Anything else will be ignored as if the float declaration didn't exist.

Try something like this:

width: 90%;
left: 5%;

Re: Need help fixing top Nav. bar of website

You want it the full width of the window instead of 90% or something? Just use 100% for the width.
I do think that it is best as is - the edges point up that it is not just part of the window chrome. When I first looked at your implementation, I didn't notice the extra bar at the bottom; it just blended with the stuff there. Many people will probably miss it if it matches the window too closely.

Non-Zen Cart pages in the overall site? You might be able to adapt the Sidebox Anywhere mod from Free Addons for that.

Re: Need help fixing top Nav. bar of website

ok, now for some reason i can't resize my #mainWapper or #MainWapperlower:

#mainWrapper{
margin: 0;
font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 85.5%;
color: #000000;
width: 600;
text-align:center;
background-color: #e5edf5;
background-position: center top;}
#mainWrapperlower{background-color:#ffffff;text-align:left;width: 500;vertical-align:top;border-bottom:0px inset #9a9a9a;border-left:0px inset #9a9a9a;border-right:0px inset #9a9a9a;padding-top:10px;}

My website is still as wide as the window, anything that would cause it to do that?

Re: Need help fixing top Nav. bar of website

In CSS, you need to specify units for width.
width: 600; doesn't mean anything; you want to say
width: 600px;
