Ajeh:
For some reason, USPS handles the digits differently for National and International ...
Based on the weight of the Products and the Tare Rates it can calculate the weight where there are 5 digits ... however, the International counts the decimal place as a digit ...
So, to correct this issue on some carts, you need to change the code from:
// usps currently cannot handle more than 5 digits on international
$shipping_ounces = zen_round($shipping_ounces, 3);
> ```
// usps currently cannot handle more than 5 digits on international
$shipping_ounces = zen_round($shipping_ounces, 2);
I understand explanation about 3 – 2 digits code problem. Another reason I don't want the government involved in my Healthcare.... Then it appears that the shopping cart uses the product weight, pound side of tare, and quantity to do its calculation, then Line 193 limits the digits to either 3 or 2 places. It appears it later brings the Tare % number in and blows the digits over 2 or 3 that line 193 has been set for.
If this is not true then explain to me why no matter whether I have line 193 set to 3 or set to 2 digits and the %number set to zero %, I will get no error no matter what quantity is used.
But if I set %number greater than (0) zero it will produce an error to some quantity that is used.
