banner adds

can i add a static banner to just the home page in left column above the categories or perhaps a rotating banner but that will only refresh to certain banners of the same size (also at top of right column) I have now a banner in center column that is only on home page and is always the same banner, (https://www.airtightvideo.com/shopping_cart) I would like 3 adjacent banners (adds i.e. special deals, promos, etc.) there and wouldn't mind if all three changed when refreshed but would need to refresh to banners of the same size and of my choosing.

or to extend header on just home page to include say 2 banners side by side under the cat nav header bar and above the 3 column (left, center, right) split

hope i described what i want to do right, dont mean to confuse anyone more that i am already confused.

zen cart has 3 sidebox banner boxes by default

banner_box.php
sideboxes/banner_box_all.php
sideboxes/banner_box2.php

you are already utilizing 2 of them with rotating banner ads in the right column

you could duplicate all the banner_box files to create banner_box3, banner_box4

you could use this add on to create a blank sidebox

how would i make them static. I want them to advertise specials on my site or discounts for adding cameras and recorders for a full system, best if they stay the same and I could change them once a week or something, ok if they switch on refresh but would need to switch with certain ones, not just any banner. kind of want them to become a familiar face on the page. (just the home page.
