Pizza - Store Pickup or Delivery

Having an bad time - I'm trying to set up a Pizza store for Pickup or Delivery. I've set the Shipping - both freeshipper mods and store pickup but I can't find where or how to cause that selection to show up in Checkout. How does the customer tell the store "I'll pick it up in 30 min" or "Deliver to my house"?

Are you marking your Products as either:

Product is Virtual: Yes, Skip Shipping Address

Always Free Shipping: **Yes, Always Free Shipping **

Or as 0 weight where 0 weight is setup in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... as Free Shipping:

Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status
If there is no weight to the order, does the order have Free Shipping?
0= no
1= yes

Note: When using Free Shipping, Enable the Free Shipping Module this will only show when shipping is free.

or using the Modules ... Order Total ... Shipping ot_shipping and setting Free Shipping on orders over some amount? :unsure:

OK, I sorta got things working - Virtual=No, FreeShip=Yes (or No).

I have found
Virt=no, Free=yes then Payment gives options: COD & Ck/Mo
Virt=no, Free=no then Payment gives options: Ck/Mo

Is (does ZC) assume that if it's FreeShip the the company decides how to ship? And therefore doesn't ask PickUp or Delivery. Do I need to hack the code where it says "Shipping Method:" in step 1 of CheckOut with a pair of radio buttons?

What shipping do you have installed besides the Store Pickup storepickup shipping module?

What do you see when you go to the checkout on the checkout_shipping page?

I have:
FREE SHIPPING
Store Pickup

My problem is that when I Checkout [ step 1 ] it has:

my name, address, etc and
Shipping Method:
Please select the preferred shipping method to use on this order.
Free Shipping
Free shipping for orders over $0.00

and what I need is

Delivery Method:
Please select the preferred delivery method to use on this order.
O Please deliver to my address above.
O We will come to the store.

Special Instru.......

There are lines: zen_draw_radio_field. But I can't fine a man page

Bottom line - someone buys 2 large pepperoni pizzas - are they coming in for a Pick Up or do we give them to the Delivery guy/gal? I've done other ZC sites where the options were FedX or USPS and the radio options come up - but not for PU/Del.

Why don't you change the language file so that the Free Shipping reads Free Delivery ...

That's not the issue - how do I get the 2 radio buttons

I would need to see your site, I am not seeing why you don't have the two radio buttons ...

Is the Product marked as Always Free Shipping?

Do not mark any of your Products as:

Virtual or Always Free Shipping

Install the shipping modules for:

Free Shipping Options freeoptions

• set to Total >= 0.00

Store Pick up storepickup

Change the language file to read as you want it to read ...

For the Calzone/Strom - is/was set per your prev post and the 2 modules install.

Shipping Method:
Free Shipping
Free shipping for orders over $0.00

O Please Deliver to the above address. (added by chuck)

I added the 2 above: input type=radio.... and that will work except the system doesn't know about them so it doesn't extract and include in email(s).

It's just that I expected that the 2 above lines would automagicly show up is Del/PU were the [only] options.

I have tried every combination I can think of and CheckOut does not / will not display radio buttons asking Pickup or Delivery. So in:
tpl_checkout_shipping_default.php I added <input type=radio... twice and now my screen looks like I want it to.

Now it's working - only thing I did was to remove both shipping modules and put them back in and:

Shipping Method:
Please select the preferred shipping method to use on this order.
FREE SHIPPING!

O Free Shipping Only

Store Pickup

O Walk In

My Calzones - pickup or delivery
My deserts - nothing.

I've found that if I buy just 1 item I get the 2 radio buttons - If I buy 2 or more items - a pizza and a salad - "Please select the preferred delivery method to use on this order." and NO buttons. I'm confused.

1 Makes sure your products are set for:

Product is Virtual: No, Shipping Address Required

Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules

2 Make sure in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... that you have set to NO or 0:

Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status
If there is no weight to the order, does the order have Free Shipping?
0= no
1= yes

3 Make sure that you have installed in the Modules ... Shipping ...
Free Shipping Options freeoptions

• set Total >= 0

Store Pickup storepickup

4 Change the language file for the Free Shipping Options freeoptions to be for:
Please Deliver to the above address

5 Change the language file for the Store Pickup storepickup to be for:
We will come by the store

Now, regardless of what is ordered, you will see both shipping methods with radio buttons for the customer to select ...

Oh, I also had to do Modules/Shipping - allow free ship = false
otherwise when it hit the "orders over" the buttons went away again.
