No sales tax at checkout.

I have settup a site, and the sales tax doesn't show up in the shopping cart. The sales tax shows up fine in the Admin area if I view a product with Taxable Goods and if I goto Configuration>My Store>Display Prices with Tax and turn this on the products displays with tax all the time in the store, but it isn't working with the Zones it seems. But I have the zones settup correctly for my state and for the shipping address I am using for testing, but it only taxes the shipping charge and not the actual product. What could I be missing? I am using Version 1.3.9h of Zen Cart.

I seem to be having a similar problem (also using v1.3.9h) where some of my products that I recently added to the website won't show the sale or tax amount. As far as I can tell I have set all the setting properly and cannot figure out why I can't get the other options to show up. Some of them are even in the same category.
