Product title and description keeps disappearing

I have new shopping cart set up 1.39, latest php and mysql.

When i create a product and input the Products Name: and Products Description: it takes it when I save it but when I go back to edit it the fields are blank!

Yet when I go to the website, the name and description are there!

Any clues?

Thank you. That did the trick. All I had to do was download version 1.3.9g and upload the earlier files and overwrite the newer ones. That did the trick.

NOTE: it would be better to use v1.3.9h and just change the few files listed on post #6 ...

Yes that is what I did. Thank you.

On my hosted server (1and1), all I had to do is to add an .htaccess file to the root to switch from PHP4 (default) to PHP5. The line is follows:

AddType x-mapp-php5 .php

It was a way easier fix than modifying files, and I suppose it makes my cart more secure as well.

I did these fixes and it fixed everything but the date available, that still stays blank, any idea on that field?
