unable to set add to cart button on product listing

hi, i know that this is a subject thats been covered in the past, but none of the threads seem to help me solve this problem

im using the newest zen cart release

these are my settings:

• in the product listing control panel:

Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product) = 1

• in prouct types all the types are Y in add to cart

ive tried turning the qty box on and off because i understood it has something to do with it but it didnt do anything

i looked around a little more, and some of the posts talked about the face that a product with attributes could not be added to the box, but to check that out i made another product, whit no attributes, and id still doesnt show the add button

never mind, i turned off the multiple qty display and it worked
