Gift Certificate - Checkout without paying

Hi

I am setting up gift certificates for a group of customers who will have a monthly budget - the only way I can think of doing this is to set up gift certificates.

How can I get them to check out without going through the payment process ie. entering credit card details? This group of customers will only ever pay using the gift certificate balance.

Any help / advice would be much appreciated.

Also will it be possible to show how much they have remaining in their account?

Do the customers redeem on the checkout_payment page or just enter the amount to apply?

Are these customers flagged in some way to distinguish them from other customers?

I would build in a submit button next to the Gift Certificate box or the Apply to Balance ... for starters ...

All I have done at the moment is set up a discount coupon code which the customer enters at the checkout page.

Where would i need to put the submit button and what code would I need to use to submit the order without having to enter payment information?

Think I've sorted this myself using gift certificates instead of discount coupons.
