Help with CURL problems detected: 0 =>

Hello can someone please help me with a new installation of ZenCart v1.3.9h? As during the initial Prerequisites stage I am getting the following errors. I also have an SSL certificate installed on the server as well.

Here is a partial screen shot of the above error messages.

Then if you scroll down a little a bit you see this.

I have checked the phiinfo page and this is what it shows.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here and can they please assist me in getting this problem resolved?

Thank you very much for any help.

Kind regards,
Erica

Where is your webserver located? What's the URL?

Re: Help with CURL problems detected: 0 =>

Hello DrByte and thanks for getting back to me.

Our webserver is located in Sydney Australia.

The URL is http://www.kellettshobbies.com.au and the IP address is 175.107.143.3

I also received an email from the tech support people and this is what they had to say.

Hi Erica,

I believe the reason you get the CURL errors is due to the script trying
to connect to an external site to test the CURL connection. For some
reason it isn't able to connect to the external site, so it is showing
the errors that you reported.

This means that CURL is working on the server but for some reason can't
connect via CURL to an external server. I will investigate this further
and keep you updated.

Regards,

I have been reading through some of the threads on here especially in regards to blocked IP's accessing the ZenCart site. Is it possible that our IP is blocked for some reason?

If you can offer any additional assistance on this problem I would greatly appreciate your help DrByte.

Thanks once again for taking the time to reply it is very much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Erica

Yes, I figured it was something being blocked, and had our server adjusted to allow those CURL tests through despite IP blocks. It should have started working fine again shortly after my last post.
Can you try again and advise whether it's still a problem?

Hello DrByte and thanks for getting back to me.

I just checked and I am sorry to say the same problem still exists. I tested it in both Firefox and Internet Explorer just to make sure.

Is there any other information you need?

Would you like to access the installation setup so you can see this error in action yourself? If so please send me a PM for the installation URL.

Thank you once again for your time.

Kind regards,
Erica

Re: Help with CURL problems detected: 0 =>

It was an IP blockage, and the server IP you gave wasn't the one actually making the request. Plus, the global rule we'd set up to allow that specific request regardless of blockages had been turned off temporarily but forgotten to turn it back on.
