Change sort order in new products box on index.php page

Having installed and customised zen cart using the darkness template, we have all the new products displaying in 2 columns on the main store page. Could someone please help me out with how to set the order the new products display in - the default display is random.

Log into admin, Click Configuration, Click New Listing, then Display Product Display - Default Sort Order and enter the desired sort option.

Thanks very much for that! I am still finding my way around and there are so many different combinations of options (which is great, I just need to learn them).:smile:
