Disabling NEW ORDER Disclaimers

The [NEW ORDER] email to the store includes 2 disclaimers, Copyright, and several other lines that the store doesn't need. I'd like to turn all unneeded text off because the printer uses 2 sheets of paper with the customers IP and "This email is sent in accord..SPAM.." on the second page. So it's a disclaimer from us to us. :wacko:

I've been able to kill the body of the email or get the disclaimers - nothing in between - can someone tell me where to go (politely) to turn off various parts of the [NEW ORDER] email.

If you turn it off (meaning remove it), it will also be removed from the customer email, which I think it illegal. You can however reword it if you wish.

In includes/functions/functions_email.php around line 146 I've added:

if ( strstr($email_subject, "[NEW ORDER]") ) {
then explode the string and reassemble - sans the lines I don't want.
(not quite finished - something about draining the swamp...)

It's just that saying "I got 'my' email address from 'me' and if 'me' doesn't want email from 'me' then I should contact 'me' ...

Bottom line is I'm trying to make the order fit on 1 piece of paper.

You could customize the order class and add the disclaimer only to the customer email with something like this ...
