Weird problem: Admin page doesn't load anymore...

Hello guys,

I have a weird problem. I was using my website normally until today. I didn't do anything special. The only "different" thing I did today was to send a newsletter, but I'm quite sure this hasn't anything to do with my problem as I did this also a few months ago.

A few minutes later, I wanted to login into my admin page to check the "who's online" status. But surprise....it won't load. If I want to get into admin, the homepage of my website displays...and that's all. Like it wouldn't exist. And even so...if the page wouldn't exist, shouldn't I get a 404 error message?

I tried different browsers and pcs too. If I try mypage.com/admin or mypage.com/admin/login.php it displays only the mypage.com content. I guess you got the idea. I really don't know what to do to repair this thing...

Use FTP and check for any recently modified files

I found the problem. All the permissions of the admin folder were changed to 0000 (instead of 0755). I don't understand how/why.
