change link color

Hey,

Is there a way to change the color of single link, either in the header or a sidebox category? So, to be clear, I want to keep all of the links in my categories the color they are now except for one. Accodingly, I need the coinciding link that's in my header to be the same color.

Can this be done?

Re: change link color

It can most likely be done with an update to your CSS stylesheet, identifying the specific link(s) by either ID, class or position and applying a different color/style to those links.

Are you able to supply the address of your site? That would make it easier to help ...

Re: change link color

Sure, http://kamskungfucinema.com/zencart/

...if it helps, the category labeled "NEW & RARE" is what I'm trying to change

Re: change link color

So I found an old post that says:

tpl_categories.php has a commented section describing how to make individual categories have their own styling. You can do this for each category by adding a case section in tpl_categories.php and a rule in the stylesheet for each class you so define.

Say you call one category "category-holiday" as described, you would then add to your stylesheet

a.category-holiday {color: #aabbcc;}

Adjust the color as desired.

I'm really a noob at this, can anyone clarify what I should be adding/modifying in my tpl_categories.php file?
