Price will not update for class tax "none"

Whether I put a tax class on a product item or not the product price on the site still shows the amount with the tax included. IE an item marked as $15 and without a tax class (so that the gross is also $15.00) still shows as $16.50 on the site - no matter how I change it. In other words it will not update. Why?

This may be because even though you made the change you are seeing the results of cached data. Have you tried clearing your cache and/or restarting your browser?

Yes I have cleared cache.

(Not sure why though that this has become an increasing problem with browsers... I've noticed this with other programs).
