Trouble with inserting new product

I was recently using admin and was able to view my "preview" page and when I clicked the "insert" button it directed me to a white page displaying the letters, "bv c" in the upper left hand corner. What does this mean and how do I stop it?

This is art room again, supplying info not in the first message. We are using v1.3.9h. Everything has been working just fine until today. Our hosting company is MacHighway. We have searched the FAQs and forum for the same question.

Our store has been online since 2008.
