borders on category products

I am using the 3 column layout

and i would like to put borders around the products to better separate them.
any help would be appreciated.

thanks but not exactly what i was looking for. I was hoping to get boxes with 4 sides (instead of like cellpadding where boxes share the border between them) and i was hoping to get them all the same size (the code i put in the boxes were different sizes depending on the item)
