Page 2 of products dont show

Hi All,

Having a massive problem.

I removed about 300 products to update them with new ones but now when I load it either the pictures don't show or when I reupload the images the 2nd page of products disappear.

Any body know :lookarounwhat the problem could be?

Check your products_id 731 ... you will notice that the product_info page also fails on that one ...

any ideas on why this is happening?

Might be something wrong with products_id 731 ...

You might try to edit it or delete it and re-add it to see what the problem might be ...

Just deleted it, still same problem.

All of a sudden its just playing up. : (

ive just deleted another item and now all them products have disappeared from the website

Now look at products_id 717 ...

and products_id 715 ...

deleted that too still no luck. got about 8 products left

can i ask where your getting these numbers from?

I am going to any Product in that category that works and using the Next button until I get a broken page ...

now all the products have disappeared from that category

Do you use Linked Products?

Do all of the Products in that Category have master_categories_id set on them?

When the display has a bad Product, the page fails ... you have to find which Products are triggering the error ...

You might look in your directory:
/cache

and see what debug logs are being generated ...

Nothign relating to that in the cahe folder.

Ive just reuplaoded all the old products nd deleted the new ones and all is working ok now. Not sure whats going on

I do use linked products, not sure what you mean about the master_categories id though. How would i set it?

If you edit the a Product you should see the Master Category that is set for the Product ...

On Linked Products, you will see a Dropdown where you can select one of the Categories that the Product is Linked to and pick the one that should be the Master Category, if you need to change it ...

ok yep thats all sorted.

Still having a problem, uploaded all of my old products they work fine.

Made up a few bogus names to test something out. and page 2 still doesn't work. all other pages work

I am not sure the cause of the problem but again there are products_id that generate dead pages ...
products_id 1210

is one of them ... and probably others ...

Same test used by going to the product_info page for the Products in the Category and clicking Next to find them ...

If using an importer ... you are probably importing the problem like missing master_categories_id or missing categories_id or products_id in the products_to_categories table ...
