Increasing the number of products listed in admin

Hi. I noticed in the admin side you can adjust the number of products shown in a category before having to go to the next page. I have mine set on 10 prods per page

BUT

where in the admin side can you change it. I want to change the admin side to around 50 per page

That's fine. I saw that but it changes the front end too. I want the front end at 10 and the admin side at 50.

In the Configuration ... Maximum Values ... the setting for:

Maximum Categories Products Display List
Number of products to list per screen

only changes the Admin display of the number of Products ...

Thanks Linda. Maybe to put on your 'honey do' list for 1.40 is to separate the front end and admin settings. Maybe a new TAB like FRONT END and ADMIN or just label each setting as (FRONT END) and (ADMIN). You know for newbies like me. :)

Worked for me on a fresh install to be able to go to: YOUR_RENAMED_ADMIN/configuration.php?gID=3&cID=85&action=edit

Where I could then modify the setting from the default of 10 to say 20 and then when navigating the admin side I was able to see at most 20 product or categories on a single screen.

If this is not working for you, may I suggest describing how the install is different than a copy obtained from this site and perhaps the history of the database.

So I thought that "all" zen cart default installs had the same primary designators for the base configuration menus which would mean, that if you were logged into your admin and then copied everything including configuration.php onwards and pasted it as the file to follow the admin directory, then you too would be presented with the edit box to modify the number of product to show per page within the admin listing area.

But otherwise the "human" way to get there is to follow the guidance of Ajeh copied below from an earlier post in this thread:
