Password protected store: how to move new customer sign up to different page?

Hello :)

I am a Zen Cart n00b. :)

I just got off the phone with Google AdWords, and they said my site is not eligible for an AdWords account because it is considered "data collection." :|

The site is: http://www.continentalbeadsuppliers.com

This is because our store is wholesale only, therefore customers must sign in to see our products and prices.

No big deal... all I need to do is leave the existing customers login box, but move the new customers sign up fields to a new page.

The only question is... how do I do it? :)

My page was recently REMOVED completely from search engine results due to the robots noindex, nofollow Zen Cart bug (http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=84387&highlight=nofollow). I fixed the bug, but I'm still waiting for Google to index my page. :(

Uhm... Why hide your products? Let everyone see it (including search engines), but state you are a wholesale shop only.
Go to Configuration -> Customer Details -> Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices and set to 2.
Next, go to Configuration -> Customer Details -> Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending and set to 2.

You will have to authorize every wholesaler manually now (basically, one has to apply for an account and you have to authorize it), but your site and products will be visible to everyone. You can now add a "store locator" page or "authorized dealers" or "where to buy" or something like that. This even gives a possibility of making it commercial, for example - "if you buy from us over $xxxx per month, you can be listed on our site" and stuff like that... :smile:
