How do I change the music genre select sidebar to use a drop down menu???

http://hurtstohear.com/shop

I'm using the record companies side box (renamed record labels) and that box uses a drop down menu to view and select a label.

I want my music genre side box (renamed bands) to do the same thing. Instead it has a scrollable box.

Very new to this. Many thanks in advance.
