If you do not have any add ons for the Admin, I would first try reloading the directories and files for:
/admin (be sure to use your secret admin directory name)

Ajeh,

Thank you for paying attention to my problem. I did reload the whole files under admin directory.

I also added "DirectoryIndex index.php" in '.htaccess' file

But problem still remain the same. I got some advises from this forum, but no solution yet so far.

Do you see any debug logs in the:
/cache

Could you post, from the server, without your secret admin directory and password, the files:
/includes/configure.php
/admin/includes/configure.php

Ajeh,

My server hosting provider advising me the same:
"You might want to make sure that the configure.php located in your
includes folder, as well as your configure.php located in your
Administration folder (/includes) are both using the proper settings."

I will post it soon.

Re: Admin site css/layout mess up after upgrade to 1.3.9h

Nothing new generates if you go to your Admin?

If you go to your Catalog and go to page 2, do your create new debug logs or is that just old errors from 2 days ago that are now fixed?

Re: Admin site css/layout mess up after upgrade to 1.3.9h

Ajeh,

I found my current both configure.php files are difference. Read like this:

define('DB_SERVER', 'mysql.xxxxx.xxxxxxx.com');

define('DB_SERVER', 'mysql.xxxxx.com');

Are they should be same? If yes, then this should be the problem caused. I will test it after your advise.

I changed to same and tested it. No fix. Problem still there.

Your database information in the two files should match ...

Does your catalog work correctly?

If so, try using the database information from the catalog configure.php in your admin configure.php ...

I did try match two files.
Catalog browse working fine and normal.
I tried both ways in configure.php to match. (catalog configure.php is located in /includes/configure.php, right?)
No fix. Problem remain.

Re: Admin site css/layout mess up after upgrade to 1.3.9h

Too much work?

You did an upgrade. So, if it's not working, then you merged something incorrectly. You need to do a file-by-file comparison to determine what you broke.
The comparison takes just a couple minutes if you use an automated tool like WinMerge, as mentioned in the article I linked.

You've spent a lot of time posting about things not working, when you could spend that time on comparing files to identify what's broken.

And, you should never upgrade a LIVE site directly. You should ALWAYS test the upgrade on a COPY of your site FIRST ... that's why the upgrade guide instructs you to do it that way.
